New Zealand to be represented at 2019 World University Games in 12 sports

New Zealand will be represented at the 2019 World University Games in 12 sports, from Archery to Water Polo.

The following National Sporting Organisations have committed to selecting their top athletes to travel to Italy as part of the New Zealand World University Games team next year.

At the Games being held in Napoli from 3-14 July, the best university and tertiary students will compete in the world's second largest multisport event, competing across 18 sports in total. It is expected that selected athletes will be named by their NSO by March-April 2019.

In 2017 out of 10,000 participants from 170 countries, 58 kiwi student-athletes represented New Zealand and tested their talent against the best.
