2024 National Tertiary Football Cup
Event Brief
The National Tertiary Football Cup returns as our teams fight for a spot at the 2025 FISU University World Cup Football in Dalian, China. The men's tournament will be played between the University of Auckland, AUT, and the University of Canterbury in Auckland (venue TBC) on Saturday the 5th of October. The University of Canterbury will host the women's tournament at English Park in Christchurch on Sunday the 6th of October, facing teams from the University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington.
Results
Congratulations to the University of Auckland men and the Victoria University of Wellington women for winning the 2024 National Tertiary Fotball Cup.
These teams now progress to the Oceania qualifiers for the FISU University World Cup, where the men will face the University of Wollongong in Australia and the women will host the University of Sydney in Wellington.
The winner of the Oceania qualifiers will then represent the region at the 2025 FISU University World Cup Football in Dalian, China.
